When & Where
Frances Marlin Mann Center for Ethics and Leadership
The Frances Marlin Mann Center for Ethics and Leadership was founded in 2008 with support from Marvin L. Mann, a Samford University graduate who served as chairman and chief executive officer of Lexmark International prior to his retirement. The center's name honors his wife of 53 years, the late Frances Marlin Mann. The Center provides resources and fosters initiatives for students, faculty, and the community.
The Mann Center sponsors the annual Andrew Gerow Hodges Lecture in Ethics and Leadership, which provides a forum for the Samford community to hear nationally and internationally known thought leaders from business, the professions and academia. These campus-wide programs address current ethical issues facing society, focusing especially on the role of leadership in meeting these challenges. This lecture series is graciously sponsored by the family of the late Andrew Gerow Hodges.
